Together with plain shutter count you’ll get separate values for photos taken through the viewfinder, photos taken via the Live View and a number of Live View sessions. Copy app into the /Applications folder; switch camera communication settings to PTP; connect camera to mac via usb cable; close auto-started application (Apple Photo, Image Capture, etc) then press 'Get Shutter Count' button. Shutter Count Statistics Data for Canon EOS RP. The Canon EOS RP is a 26.2 megapixel full-frame mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera launched by Canon in February 2019.

what software do you use to find out your shutter count I have the 30d,7d,5dmk2 and would love to see what the shutter count is on all the bodies .i have A Mac and wonder what software if any there is out there for the mac? If none what software do you use for the windows platform . I use this http://homepage.mac.co​m/aozer/EV/ I've checked images from both my 40D and also my 1D MkII. I can't guarantee it's accuracy but it does appear to be OK. I've cross referenced it with this http://www.camerashutt​ercount.com/ and a couple of other actuation counters I've come across and the count has matched and so I take it on face value. I am very happy with ShutterCount.app and it only cost me $2 when I got it. There are free options, yes, but they require an internet connections on a website. THe app works on my laptop without internet to check my friends gear or used gear. Worth it to me. None of these applications work on my cameras under OS X 10.8 or 10.6 (my backup computer). I even downloaded and compiled gphoto2, but it returns 'unknown camera' for both my 550D and 7D. On the bright side, POTN user mij posted this gem: Mac Shutter Count App and it works perfectly on both of my computers, both of my cameras.
